Portrait of Julia Dao

Julia Dao handles every aspect of competition law, before regulators and the French and European courts.

Julia Dao advises and represents French and international clients before French and EU regulators and courts on every aspect of competition law: abuse of dominance, cartels, merger control, compliance, restrictive trading practices, antitrust damages claims and State aid. Her experience spans both advisory and contentious work.

She also works on foreign subsidies control (FSR), distribution law, consumer law and commercial contracts.

She joined Rive Gauche Avocats as an associate after working at international law firms in Paris and Brussels and in-house at a CAC 40 company.

Julia holds a PhD in EU competition law from Toulouse Capitole University and a master’s (Master 2) in Economic Cooperation Law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University. Research stays in Belgium and Germany gave her a solid grounding in competition economics.
