The firm
Emmanuel Tricot and Gaël Peyneau founded Rive Gauche Avocats in January 2024, after twenty-five years of working on matters together, around a joined-up business law practice.
Emmanuel, who holds a doctorate in law, brings a recognised practice in French and EU economic law built at firms including Bredin Prat, Clifford Chance and KPMG Avocats. Gaël ran businesses for more than ten years before devoting his own firm, from 2007, to contracts, corporate law and litigation.
That combination shapes the firm: every matter is looked at through both lenses, beyond its purely legal characterisation.
